I love to hunt and have taken many P & Y caliber bucks and dozens of big gobblers in Iowa. (I've also guided others to big turkeys and whitetails). I also love to fish and have placed in the top ten in both local and FLW Outdoors bass tournaments. I have a passion for wildlife photography, as well, and have had several dozen images published in local, regional and national magazines, such as Buckmasters, Bowhunter, Deer & Deer Hunting, Fur-Fish-Game, Western Outdoors, Game and Fish Publications, International Bowhunter, Bowhunting World, etc. I have published over 100 magazine articles for dozens of national magazines, one newspaper and one collector's edition book published by Deer & Deer Hunting. I've also been a frequent contributor to Bowhunter magazine and Iowa Game and Fish magazine. I was also a columnist for the Fishing Iowa Internet web site when that site existed. All of this stems from a passion I developed when I was youngster prowling the woodlots and fields of eastern Iowa. And, tagging along with my Dad on his fishing trips along the various rivers there. (I can still smell the stink bait!) I want to share this love of Iowa with you -- I want to help you enjoy our Iowa outdoors to the MAX!
